The Day After the Fair by Frank Harvey
Edith, disenchanted with her three year marriage to brewer Arthur Harnham, redirects her energies into teaching Anna, her maid, to read and write. The play opens on the day of the fair from which Anna is late returning. Anna has met Charles, a young man from London, at the fair.
