DESCRIPTION:Hello all. \nI hope you are all well.  This is our first call for THIS Sunday.  I can’t quite believe it is here already.  It will be lots of fun and a chance to come along\, have a chat\, have a laugh and see what the plans are.  As ever\, don’t let the odd bit of unavailability put you off\, we can work with it. \nA couple of requests though for Sunday.  We are going to take some images for publicity.  Remember the theme is Time & Travel.  So I would like you to come equipped with any costume or props that might take us to (or at least suggest) another time\, era or place.  Anything is valid\, and nothing can be too much!   All will become clear! \nThe second request is bring any material (as in scripted\, written etc) you have so that we can begin putting it all together.  We only have a couple of weeks to do this so please get cracking! \nPlease PLEASE pass this on to anyone who may be interested in being involved.  This Sunday is to get things going\, others will still be welcome afterwards.  We hope to have plenty of things to share online from this Sunday to entice people to either be involved or to come to the show. \nHope this all makes sense.  Here’s Bill with the weather… \nTom

DESCRIPTION:Good news about Sheila Hetherington’s theatre quiz is that the number of people we can accommodate is quite large\, so please feel free to invite your friends who may like to join in either as individuals or as part of a team. We really don’t mind who or how many are in a team so long as there is one point of contact for us per team. You can register for the quiz by sending an email to Bob and we will then assume you are the main point of contact. \nAll team members are welcome to join the Zoom meeting on the night so you may want to forward the link to members of your team other than the main point of contact. You could keep in contact with team members outside your home during the rounds by phone or WhatsApp. \nThe Zoom link will be sent to all main contacts before the event. Please be aware that Audio and Video input will be switched off for everyone (except for Sheila and myself) during each round but opened for reporting marks. This means that everyone in the Zoom session will be able to see and hear the questions\, but what they do or say will not be visible to others. \nI will be reading the questions and hosting the quiz as Sheila is not confident about her computer connectivity\, but I will not see the answers until the rest of you do. You will be marking your own answers and simply giving Sheila your score at the end of each round. Sheila will be doing the traditional ‘scores on the doors’ half way through the rounds when there will also be a picture round. The pictures will be shared via Zoom from my screen. \nLastly\, a note of caution – by all means include the people in your bubble in your ‘in house’ team\, but please do not use the quiz as encouragement to stretch the current lockdown rules in any way. \nThat’s all for now. \nLooking forward to a good turnout! \nBob.
