Two kindred spirits with an irrepressible will to play ‘no nonsense’ jazz\, tinged with blues and soul. \nThey will be playing a selection of well chosen standards\, as well as a few originals\, delivered with a reverence for the past masters whilst putting their own spin on the music. \nLIBOR SMOLDAS Libor Šmoldas is a Prague based jazz guitarist and composer who has worked and recorded with international stars such as James Morrison\, George Mraz\, Jeff Ballard\, Sam Yahel\, Bobby Watson\, Adam Nussbaum\, Brian Charette\, Jay Anderson\, Stephen Keogh and more. \nHe has released eight albums as a leader. DESCRIPTION:A young German boy in the Hitler Youth\, whose hero and imaginary friend is the country’s dictator\, is shocked to discover that his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their home. Jojo Rabbit is a 2019 satirical dark comedy-drama film written and directed by Taika Waititi\, adapted from Christine Leunens’ 2008 book Caging Skies. Roman Griffin Davis makes his film debut as the title character\, Johannes “Jojo” Betzler\, a ten-year-old Hitler Youth member who finds out that his mother (Scarlett Johansson) is hiding a Jewish girl (Thomasin McKenzie) in their attic. He must then question his beliefs while dealing with the intervention of his imaginary friend\, a childlike\, eccentric version of Adolf Hitler (played by Waititi) with a comedic stance on the politics of the war.
