Dubbed as the ‘Queen of Cabaret’ (Libby Purves BBC Radio 4)\, Eve Ferret is regarded as one of the most original performers on the stage today – she spins cabaret on its head and back again! The biggest off personalities\, Eve is a singer\, songwriter\, actor\, comedian\, teller of stories and so much more. As an actor she is known for her work on Eastenders\, Haunted Honeymoon\, and Absolute Beginners (with David Bowie). Eve is ‘in pursuit of happiness for all’ and certainly achieves that wherever she goes. DESCRIPTION:The Revlon Girl by Neil Anthony Docking is set in Aberfan 8 months after the disaster in which one of the waste tips above the mining village of Aberfan in S Wales slid down the valley killing 144 people\,116 of which were children from the local primary school. \nThe play is about four women who\, having lost their children in the disaster\, wish to bring back some sort of normality into their lives by inviting a representative from the cosmetic company Revlon to give them some beauty tips. \nThe play is full of pathos\, humour and hope. DESCRIPTION:The Dean Stockdale Quartet.\nMaking a welcome return to Jazz@Davenham are the Dean Stockdale Quartet who wowed the audience when they last played in 2023. \nThe Celebrating Oscar Quartet is a relatively new quartet playing inventive arrangements of Oscar Peterson’s original compositions together with music that he was associated with. \nDean Stockdale is a highly regarded jazz pianist\, arranger and composer based in the North of England. He is known for his sensitive\, swinging style and regularly appears around the UK  with some of the best names in UK jazz. SUMMARY:Spitting Feathers Band - In the Limelight
DESCRIPTION:Spitting Feathers band are making their third appearance at Davenham theatre\, having performed sell-out shows here in 2022 and 2023. \n\nTheir music is an eclectic mix of pop and soft rock covers and you can expect to hear well-known numbers from Fleetwood Mac\, The Stereophonics\, Ed Sheeran\, Tina Turner\, George Ezra and many more\, all played in the band’s own signature style. \n\nThe band features strong female and male lead and harmony vocals supported by keyboards\, guitar\, bass and drums.  \n\nIn addition to their covers material\, the band has composed and recorded several original tracks\, one of which has been showcased by Radio Northwich as its ‘record of the week’. \n  \nThe event will feature a charity raffle in aid of St Luke’s Hospice \nSaturday 28th September 2024 at Davenham Players Theatre\n\nTickets @ £12 are available online through TicketSource \n\nAnd @ £6 for students & under 16s by phoning our Booking Enquiries line\n  \nDoors and bar open at 7.00pm \nPerformance starts at 7.30pm\n
