The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui by Bertolt Brecht

19th May @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

Step back in time to 1920s Chicago and the world of hoodlums and thuggery as petty criminal Arturo Ui tries to make a name for himself. In this parable tale, Brecht parallels the rise of Ui to Hitler’s rise in Germany.
Despite chilling content, this is a black comedy directed by Jane Barrie with original song and music. It promises to be a fast-paced and energetic evening that packs a powerful punch.
