Jazz Josh Kemp Quartet

Josh Kemp is a musician who plays a rich, melodic and lyrical sound whatever the context. A saxophonist deeply rooted in the tradition, Josh cut his teeth playing jazz standards and the blues is always a central reference in his playing. As band leader and composer he regularly plays at jazz clubs and festivals around the UK.

Josh Kemp`s Quartet Project A Love Supreme features the music of legendary jazz saxophonist John Coltrane and in particular music from his masterpiece album ` A Love Supreme` as part of a UK wide tour.  The quartet comprises:

Josh Kemp – Tenor Sax/Bass Clarinet

Jami Sheriff – Piano

Sam Quintana – Double Bass

Dave Walsh – Drums

The performance explores the lyrical and spiritual music of John Coltrane and is accompanied with video projections to provide a multimedia experience and allow audience to connect with deeply with the music on many levels.
