STEVIE WILLIAMS TRIO
THURSDAY 19TH FEBRUARY 2026
“I was born in Salford, UK, and raised on dreams and fresh air!
Stevie Williams is an acoustic singer-songwriter, producer, and bassist, known for his diverse musical influences as a cross-genre traveller. His songwriting is thoughtful, blending momentous melodies with wistful thinking and insightful lyrics.
Stevie skilfully crafts songs that fuse elements of contemporary folk, jazz and Americana, creating a compelling and engaging live performance that brings the lyrical backstories of his songs to life. With a deep intuition and a profound musical understanding, Stevie’s music feels both timeless and world-worn.
Whether solo, as a duo, trio, or with The Most Wanted Band, Stevie has built a strong following by performing live across the UK and abroad.
His underground white-label release, “Just a Little More,” by Fifth Of Heaven, was composed and produced by Stevie, reaching number one on all UK Soul and Blues charts, solidifying his place in the independent British Soul scene. His band name, Fifth Of Heaven, is honoured with a Blue Plaque in Manchester to commemorate this achievement.
Stevie’s music has been featured in television shows, including Coronation Street, and a one-hour TV music show on Granada Television, performing his original music. His songs have received airplay on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, Heart Radio Tennessee, and various independent radio stations worldwide.
Stevie has toured globally with high-profile artists, including performances on the Glastonbury Pyramid stage, Glasgow Royal Concert Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall; notable artists such as Don Felder (The Eagles), Christy Moore, John Cooper Clarke, Tanita Tikaram, Hamish Stuart (Average White Band), Ralph McTell, Madeline Bell, Jim Mullen, the Bronte Brothers, and Hot House Flowers. He has also supported tours with legends such as Buddy Guy, Frankie Beverly & Maze, Freddie Jackson, Joe Cocker, Sheryl Crow, and Alexander O’Neal, among others.
As an event planner and organiser, Stevie founded Bass Day UK, which showcased some of the world’s best bass players live in Manchester, featuring acclaimed musicians like Marcus Miller, Richard Bona, Nathan East, Billy Sheehan, Victor Bailey, Jeff Berlin, and Stuart Hamm. Stevie has also worked in schools for students with significant learning difficulties, where he taught music therapy.
